AMERICAN RED CROSS


The Central Valley Chapter of The American Red Cross, holds multiple fundraising events throughout the year. In 2010, MMC was approached to assist with their annual Real Heroes event – an event that in years prior, hadn’t yielded much profit. Our team gladly accepted, as well as chairing the entire event.


We quickly developed a theme that centered on the 1940s and World War 2, as this was a time in American History that bore many heroes. This theme was carried throughout the entire event, from the location of a hanger at Chandler Airport, to the invitations and collateral. In addition, multiple fundraising opportunities were developed throughout the event, so funds began adding up well before the evening of the affair.


The event attracted nearly 500 guests, and produced donations larger than any other local Red Cross event in the prior 10 years. This annual event has since become the Chapter’s leading fundraising event, allowing them to forego other annual events that weren’t as profitable.
